Nice work.
Is the scrolled fish raised, as in glued on the board? Or is it inlaid. It looks in the photo to be almost flush with the background wood.

Hi William! The bass is inlaid in the board. I cut it out, painted it, and glued it back.

Did you use some kind of filler to fill around the edges when you glued it back in?
If not, what size blade did you use for such a close cut?
I can't see any gaps at all. That is some steady cutting.

No filler, just cut and glued back in. I used a reverse tooth #2 tlb (tough little blade) that I purchase from Seyco.com.

Thanks. I may have to check their blades out if a #2 will cut that close.
