Project Information

We built this sliding sofa table from a huge live-edge Eucalyptus board. We used walnut for the base, which was joined with mortise and tenons, then secured with two 3/8 inch dowels through each joint. It came out beauiful as we finished it with no pigment, just seal coat(non-waxed shellac) and top coat(water based polyurethane) then a nice buffing with emulsified beesewax.
