Project Information

This is a pool house we did in NJ near the shore. The frame is eastern white pine and stained with sikkens. It is about 1000 sq feet. the four valleys meet at a "compression ring" to allow the cupula on top to have unobstructe light from the windows

Available for rent or long term lease? I'll see this in the daily top 3 very soon. Excellent building…..or is it a man cave?

Man, if I had the money, timber frame would definitely be the way I'd build my house. Excellent job!

Really an over the top pool house. Does it have radiant floor heat? Those folding doors must have been fun
to set up to make sure they were airtight. Thank you for sharing.

How much does something like this cost compared to regular framing? Roughly.

All in favor of having a party here, raise your hands. I'll even bring the steaks and beer, gettin' my tax refund check back tomorrow. Seriously, that is better built than some of the houses I've seen. I bet you're just looking for trouble so your wife sends you to the "dog house". If it were mine, I'd just move in year round.

Bluepine....no radiant…forced hot air….central air…..and yes…those doors SUCKED to hang….they came in about 8 different boxes…...the two sets of doors cost almost $30k together and the directions were only in german…..........................i dont speak german…lol

lysdexic........depending on the design, terrain, type of wood used, etc….....our frames range from $25-$35 bucks a square foot to cut and deliver (that includes material), then raising is figured seperate (we raise all our frames).....but every job is different there are so many variables its tough to put a "square foot" price on them ….......thats like me asking….." how much is a truck?" theres 20 questions you'd ask me to figure out what kind of truck i wanted to get me a good idea on the price….but 25 to 35 is a good average….
