I like your design. I made a 2-step a few years ago. It is all straight lines. While mine is functional it is nowhere near as pleasing to look at as yours.

Looks great and well made. Like the beautiful wood and smooth finish which really made the grain pops out.

Wow, that looks cool!
Maybe you should make a few of them and see if you can sell them to your local hardware store.

I also see you have R2-D2 in the last photo along with the refreshment dispenser. That is the sign of a true professional!

Thanks for all the comments. I was really happy with how the grain came out during finishing.

R2-D2 is actually a baby diaper receptacle. What a demotion…

Nice design. The ply grain structure appears to be White Oak with all of those flecks in it : )

I'm making my next one out of African Sapele. Does anyone know how easily it will break? The style is like this, but I'm going to have the grain pattern be the opposite for the legs. I don't want it to split in the middle. Not trying to have the kids get hurt because of my stupidity.

Way cool! I need a few of those around the house for places I've got shelves and double-decker clothes rods just a TEENY bit out of reach for this short ol' guy. Hope you don't mind if I steal the design.
