@AIBCuttnWud it was done by a friend of mine. He's been doing this for 30 years. He used a walnut stain and spray can varnish. He did 4 coats on the rocker.Jackal

@Bob Collins the rocker measures 24"x H. at the handlebars. X 40"L.

This is great, I purchased the plans to make a rocker simular to yours for my grandson. I am just waiting for my english walnut to cure enough to work with. I had to cut two english walnut trees down last year and had them cut into boards they are now air drying in my shed.
