Project Information
I enjoy working in the "Dog House", my "home away from home". The Dog House is my little spot, actually the 1/2 of the garage where I "poke around" and make attempts at being creative. I have recently finished my wife's jewelry cabinet, took me way to long to complete. The cabinet is the largest and most complex piece that I have even made. Except for the hinges and the screws, I hand made all of the hardware, lending more to being creative and the desire to add iron to the "mix of stuff in my bag." Someday I would like a MIG or TIG welder for the small work, I was checking some prices on them when I fine young man offered to TIG weld all of the handles for me for 20 bucks!!! Anyhooo, I wanted to add some pics and share what I have created for my Beautiful Bride. With a Note: "My Bride, I am sorry I took so long to finish this". Also, the finish is 3 Coats of Watco Dark Walnut Danish Oil on Wormy Maple, with a final finish of Clear Briwax.
