Project Information

Well i`v had several of these cut off crotch pieces for several years now. Im finally getting around to doing something with them. I have been inspired by the one we all know as grizzman to do something with these crotch pieces. I have grown to enjoy the look of natural wood and its beauty.
I hope yall enjoy looking at them.

My grand daughter said it is broke it has a hole in it Pap Paw.

Oh, I LIKE those very much. Very artistic. Did you show the grand daughter how prettily you 'fixed' the hole? ;-) Tell her, "That's called a 'challenge' little one."

Nice job mike. What technique did you use for the inlays?

I would like to thank yall again, and im glad yall like them, They were fun to create.
This was the first time to ever use the bow tie method. I had seen it in several projects over the years but never had the opportunity to use broken crotch wood.

Well Gerry, the inlay was done with a jig saw, chisel and a rasp.
