I had a project in the shop that created much dust. This forced me to do a complete clean up, so I have taken advantage of the situation to take pictures. Also good to have in case of something happening.

The work bench top and drawing table came from an old high school shop. The drawer bases were used by J.C. Penny's for display and storage in a store. Best $5.00 I ever spent.

The band saw was found in the basement of my first house in pieces. The jointer was my father-in-laws and the drill press was my fathers.

I built and designed the thickness planer unit. It is portable and it is easy to remove the shavings. The air filter has an old furnace fan in it with 2 filters on the intake side and one on the exhust side.

I build the shop with the help of family and friends. It is 24' x 24' with a 9' ceiling. I did all of the roofing and electriical.

Hope that you enjoy. If you are ever in the Atlanta, Georgia area let me know, Would love to have you come by for a visit.

Don't clean it up to much, we kind of like the look of a lived in shop, a shiny show piece just doesn't have the same character. I look forward to seeing it.

Hi Bearpaw,

I agree about cleaning up the shop. A shop without a little sawdust and tools scattered on the benches looks like a shop that isn't being used. Trust me mine looks like it is being used. I am looking forward to seeing pictures of you shop too.
