Project Information
Here is a mission style rocker that is a copy from a Stickley chair that is my families cottage. I made it out of white oak and finished it with General Finishes gel stain Candlelite. I then put 2 coats of Arm-R-Seal from General Finishes. My wife picked out the fabric for th seat and I made that with a maple frame that had jute webbing stretched on it. There is 3" high density foam with 3 inches of poly fill then a cotton cover fabric. The final cover fabric then got stretched and a dust cover on the bottom. Very comfortable and it will be perfect for rocking my kid it that is due to arrive anytime.
