This board look fantastic - very good execution!

However, I thought zebra wood is toxic - you might want to check a few sources before you put food on this!!!

I DO know it is toxic, but I am not sure how toxic. I was always told to stay away from this wood for food prep stuff…..........

For your own good - check this out.

Good work on the board however - it looks great!

Thanks for everyone's comments. I have looked into zebrawood being toxic. What I found was its similar some other exotic woods that can be irritating to humans such as eye and skin irritaion. Just depends on the person. As for me, I've worked with zebrawood before and never bothered me so I figured it would be ok. As for others, I can't say and would be careful if you are not sure.

i think you would have to eat the board
but that might be worse for your teeth
than just cutting on it from time to time
