Project Information

My pastor gave me a bunch of wood from his grandmothers porch witch had old green paint on it. When I first saw it I thought to myself "that would make a nice pie safe" the parts that were cut-to fit (bare wood) were applied with paint I mixed that I had sitting around the shop. Came out pretty nice if I say so myself. I had a woman look at it yesterday that just raved over it. I'm going to sell it for $300.00.

Love "beat up" looking pie safes and jelly cabinets. Nice work.

Good looking! How old is it … jokingly! Considering the wood was free, nice profit margin!

I have never been able to master making an antique looking anything.

You should get more than $300 for it. Don't sell yourself short. I know people that pay a lot more for funiture that looks like that. Nice Job!
