Project Information

I was messing around with the idea of making a chip case that could be carried around like a breif case . Most chip cases are made with the handle for easy transport . I wanted to make this box with nothing but wood (besides the screws ) The woods are zebra, curly maple, peruvian walnut and american walnut.

Thanks hope you like

Nice piece Jimboe.
Did you use a corebox bit to rout the trays?

Your project is great. Just about perfect. You couldn't ask for more than wooden hardware…... if you built this for yourself, your friends will be wanted one too.

I like the all wood hinges and latches. Then the handle really stands out. Great ideas. Thanks for sharing.

Really beautiful box. Love the hinges. They add so much to an already gorgeous box and make it unique. They are not so difficult once you get the pivot points correct. I use them when I can. Great job.
