Bigger saw
Table saws are useful for projects if you have the right saw. I own the porter cable jobsite table saw, and its a really nice, portable, Saw. But for a woodworker that uses it every day can lead to problems. First problem the runner slots in the table are five eight's in. Wide. All of the sleds and jigs that you can buy for your saw are not five eights. Which makes it very difficult to find a new miter sled. The fence is a huge problem as well. I cant find a fence on a jobsite table saw that locks in straight. Mine has so much play in it that its inpossible to lock in it straight. I dont get the point that you have all of these issues in a saw like this.
So im upgrading to a hybrid saw. Ive used almost all of the hybrid saws and the one I am thinking about buying is either the Masterforce table saw from menards listed at $599 US dollars. Or the Rigid hybrid table saw from home depot listed at $499 US dollars. Im leaning to the masterforce table saw but Ive had alot of rigid tools and they are still working great.
Which one would you buy?
