Project Information

pics 1 and 2- our client called us, asked us to replace the counters and put up a new tumbled stone backsplash. no problem. even put in a nice white undermount sink. she called us that night and said it looked lovely, perfect, but there was a problem and wanted us to come out the next day so she could show us. okay we did. she decided that the new made the rest ugly and wanted all new, but keep the counter and backsplash. glad to do it. when we left that day it had blown into a whole upstairs reno.
pics 3-5- we changed everything. the new kitchen is natural , slightly rustic hickory. there was short wall we removed to open up between the dinig room and living room. we installed new hand scraped walnut flooring on a 45 degree angle, everywhere but bedrooms and bathroom. we modified hallway closet, put in custom walnut baseboard, pine trims on doors and windows, solid pine interior doors on bedrooms, new tile floor in bathroom with vanity, new tile floor in office behind kitchen with desk and storage units.
picture 3 shows the trim we had to do on the ceiling where the wall was removed, the old ceiling were a mess and couldn't repair with out extensive removal and reframing and drywall work. it was neater and easier due to the fact that the client didn't want to redo the stucco ceilings….? (didn't question on this as everything else was easy to change in her mind) the whole job was good, no real surprises and the client is like family now, but without the obligations to visit often.

Looks great! You need to post more pictures, especially of the door frames and bathroom vanity.

Very nice transformation! It's always good to hear when client relationships work out so well!
