Hello

Last week I have decided to make my own version of a jig to done fingerjoint

I have been inspired with a lot of jigs posted on this site.

The first idea was the security :

The piece of wood is clamped with the front piece of MDF and the second
I've added a handle to be sure that my hand is used and the front piece guard my second hand behind it

The second piece can move to the left or the right to ajust the fingerjoint

This is not a revolution but I ilke it

I have done a try with two piece of MDF (Pic 6)

Looks gr8, and from the pic, it looks like it cuts very precise. Very nice. I like the handle you put on it also

Different but obviously effective ! Those are some tight fitting joints DJ, looks like set up is simple and quick. Nice job and thanks for showing, and as always keep safe….....ROB

To goriak : It isn't the last jig I have a lot of another jigs in progress…

To Bricofleur (Serge) : I like also the MDF (for the jigs )

To Roger : the handle is for my security and I have a lot of fun to make it

great jig,need one too. thanks,Diggerjacksi had to go study it a bit and this is really nice .as a beginer this will work for me ,love the simplicity of it as that is what always work the best for me . just havent quite made it out of the learning curve yet
