hi fellow l J yes another bowl i am hooked on making them maybe because i have so much fun making them
this one is made out of maughney purple hart wenge beach aroka
there are 168 pieces in it
it stands 4 1/4 '' tall by 10 '' at the rim by 5'' at the bottom
it s finish is 6 coats of tung oil
laving it to dray over night after every coat and sanded in between every coat
then buffed to a nice smooth finish
i love the feel of oil finishes

Love the 3-D look. Great job! Must have been crazy fitting 168 pieces…I've been practicing some segmented turning. Hope to join you in your obsession soon!

Very wonderful version of a segmented bowl and it is easy to see that you are having fun making them. I
really like that dual sided bottom section, I had to take a couple of looks to make sure my eyes and memory
were not play tricks on me, and to just enjoy it. Thank you for sharing, and keep having fun.
