Here is another cane that I made for a wounded veteran. I am honored to be part of a group of wood carvers who make canes for American soldiers that have been wounded while serving their country. In general, these soldiers are Purple Heart recipients. They are asked if there is anything special that they would like included on the cane. Usually, it is things like unit patches, Combat Infantry Badges and such.
This cane was for Mr. Donald Fraley. Mr Fraley was severely wounded in Viet Nam in 1969 and over the years has had numerous surgeries to deal with the wounds.
