That lid is gorgeous, and I like the picture showing the way the oil brings out the color and grain. I'm sure it will become a prized family heirloom, filled with Mom's recipes. Great job!

Nicely done. I enjoy do this type of box tops with a design. You did it well.

A Recipe for a beautiful recipe box.

Take some very nice wood
mill until you have great joinery
add super inlay
fill with cards
Makes one happy wife :))

I need to give it a few more coats of finish and she can fill it with her cards!
