Project Information

Here is a Walnut vanity that I was asked to build for my brother in law. it was for their powder room with very limited space. they purchased the top and asked the me to make the bottom to fit. It was based on a vanity that they saw at a high end bathroom store, but with a $1,800 price tag for the base alone it was a little out of their price range.

Built out of solid walnut which is locally grown and cut. The legs came out of 2 1/8" stock and were taper with a simple jig on the table saw. The bottom shelf is also sold and screwed to cleats to allow for seasonal movement to the back.

They paid for the materials and as for the labor, they collect air miles through purchased made for their business and had enough points to get a 46" Sony LCD TV. Good trade I think.

Thanks for looking
