Project Information

Can't have too many straight, dry piles of lumber.

Building these took a ridiculous amount of time, sweat and cursing. The blocks sit on holes full of gravel to avoid frost heaves and are six foot level level, the roof lets what little light we get in the winter in, and the black cloth is silt cloth, a geotextile, with a more open weave than the stuff you put in gardens to keep the weeds down.

And it's blue to match the siding on the house (my god I'm turning into an old lady).

Frost?? What is that? It was 80 degrees here over the weekend (San Diego). If you need a place to store your supply I would gladly offer my back yard!!! My fees are really reasinable too. Just a percentage off board feet.

That is a great collection of wood, how long will you need to dry it and what kind is it? It looks like a cord of wood all told.
