Project Information

These are 2 of the 3 turnings that I have been able to complete since Christmas. I normally turn at least 6 days a week and on the weekend I get 5-7 hours a day. I have been too busy to turn and that is not good. The bowl is ambrosia maple, sanded to 600 grit and finished with spray lacquer. The second is a hollow form of an unknown wood type. It is also finished with spray lacquer. Comments are welcome. Thanks for looking.

both very nice turnings. The grain on the bowl and the way it is ringed with clear wood at the top is vey strikiing and to me, quite unique. I did a double take at first wondering of it was an applied decoration or natural. Great job.

Hi Really very well done. I have one comment on the natural edge bowl. The foot I would have made at
least 25mm 1" smaller in diameter other wise goooooood Regards Roger

What a pattern on that bowl! And you cut it with delicacy and precision. That's a show stopper!
