Project Information
I love radial arms for cross cutting! When i had the chance to pickup the same exact model and year of the one i already own- i jumped on the chance.
I hear mixed opinions on them- but only once have i had an issue with mine- while using of all things a wobble head dado cutter! lol scared the hell outta me.
But as long as you dont mess with them- they are super reliable for long dependable cross cuts!
I figure on using the Right one for just perfect 90's. and the left one for just 45 degree cuts. Thats it! Set them up perfect and DONT MESS WITH THEM. lol
This will give me a nice long table surface to work with, and somehow- i have yet to figured out how to mount my router off to the far left side. Still allota work to do, but thought i'd share with everyone.
_another hint on radials, everything has to be perfect! Pain in the butt- leveled everyway possible, perpendicular top to blades, etc. its not at EZ as just thowing them together side by side on a table top.
Thanks,
James
