Project Information

This is my first candle holder and just a tad different from others I made it higher and added what I call struts underneath I made it for an Engineer Captain and wanted it to be slightly reminiscent of a bridge but still feminine (as she is a woman) I think it turned out ok but I will make some changes next time I build one, first off I did the dado's with a single blade on my table saw next time I will for sure use my dado blades lol. The whole project was built using only cuts from my TS and is constructed of Maple and Walnut, the finish is 1 coat tung oil and 2 coats deft spray laquer. As you can see in some of the photos I wasnt quite done picking off all the fuzzies from the stupid finish pads I used. Thanks for looking.

This came out rather nicely. I like the wood combos and the design. I may borrow your design and "tweak" it a little. I've got 2 daughters that luv candles.
