Well I'll be. Great reclaim. You would never guess that the final product could come from the first photos

LOL After 30 years outside and looking like they did, I wouldn't have thought that they would even be any good for fire wood. GREAT SAVE!!

Excellent - absolutely love the idea of reclaiming wood that others would simply burn or toss in a landfill. Nice find and keep up the good work!

I also like the idea of re-purposing lumber. I once found 3" thick x 10" x 6 foot long OAK from what used to be used for sleigh runners in the early 1900's. These were new and never used, laying in an old grainery for over 50 years, cleaned them up and had some very SOLID lumber inside.NEVER say firewood YET !(give it a second chance first)

Great pictures and an amazing result! I have several old boards lying about that I just can't toss out for this very reason. Nice job!

Great job!....goes to show why oak wood is used in outside furniture alot. It can take alot of abuse and still be pretty solid.

Neat. Still good after all the abuse. I found some honduran mahogany shelves in my garage. Typical stick garage built not so well and I though for sure these things were veneer. Looked like crap 70's shelves with paint all over them and weathered. Cut into one for fun and they were solid honduran mahogany boards. You never know.
