Nice shop. Your dust collection must be really good since I don't see any dust on the floor or the tools.

Anyway welcome to LJs. I am sure that you will find this to be a rewarding experience. I look forward to seeing some of your projects.

Great looking shop! What kind of sliding fixture is that on the table saw?

I just got finished doing a good clean up and rearrangment of equipment is why everything looks so clean. The DC does a great job but the brown epoxy floor and color chips in the finish really helps too.

The sliding table is by Exactor. Not to impressed with it. It seems to bind up about half way through the movement and become difficult to push through. Doesn't matter what I do to adjust it. If it wasn't for Boeshield it would have been taken off and sold for scrap along time ago. Worst purchase I made for the new shop. I was more impressed and satisfied with the one on my old DeWalt. To bad it wouldn't fit on the Powermatic.

I will try and post some pics of my projects later.

Just about to start my own version of that mobile wood rack this weekend, and came across your shop here. Glad to see that someone is actually using it. Still working out for you?

Still working great. Just make sure you use heavy duty casters that fully swivel. It will help you get the most out of it.

Great! Thanks for responding.

I have the casters already, they seem to be heavy duty enough, but I got two that swivel and two straight ones. Where I plan to put it, I only plan to pivot it out to get the other side, and not actually move the whole thing. I had in fact considered mounting one end to a swivel plate and only getting two casters, but I found these at some kind of wholesale place pretty cheap compared to actually buying new, so I got the set of four.

I guess if they don't work, I can just empty it out, flip it over and put on new ones. (boy, that sounds like fun…)
I can't say I wasn't warned though.

Thanks again.

Well, I decided to go ahead and take your advise. I finished the cart about a week ago, and order some heavy duty 4" swivel & full lock casters. Found them pretty cheap on Lee Valley, got the set of four for $30 less for the set than from Rockler. If it were not for your advise I probably would have gone ahead with the cheap ones I had on hand.

Just got them on, and even with about a 3/4 load on the cart already it rolls quite easily.

So, thanks again!
