Project Information

I found more red in another part of the Box Elder log and just had to make something out of it. I put the photo disc in it and it came with the picture of a baby in it. I will be replacing the picture and it will be a Christmas gift for a good friend. I added some pictures of how I put in the hole for the disc ( 1 7/8" Forstner bit) using my Sine table and Level Box to level it in the drill press..
The finish is Matte Clear spray. This one is 3" square and 8 5/8" high.

Clever Jim!
I almost missed this one.
What a wonderful piece of wood, where do you find these? So full of beauty, so full of life.
This is for me when wood becomes interesting in it self, and when you then make such a simple shape it becomes so clear and right.
As a architect I must say 'really architectual' cleassic.
Best thoughts my friend,
Mads
