A great display of form and function. You did an exceptional job and I hope you enjoy it in use. I will have to add this to my build list. ...for someday.

Did you hike the John Muir Trail in your quest to visit Sequoia Groves? It's my favorite place to be during August in California. 211 miles and sunny days while backpacking in high mountains. I have personally hiked over 1000 Sierra miles in the last four years without being rained on - touch wood.

Thanks, Chuck! Next, I think I'll make a box ON PURPOSE!

I'll shoot for roughly 90 degree corners, but I might take bets as to what people think the attempt will end up as!!

I love your photo album. Being a photographer, I'm always looking for something cool there!

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

    God Bless

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I can't reply to all of you individually. I have already got some great advice from Dadoo about the Wilton vise I acquired and I will be putting it to use as soon as I have cleaned and painted it. I hope to have some of my projects posted soon and and maybe a few reviews and blogs too!
If anyone has any questions about Glass, glass art or topics related to glazing feel free to contact me at once. I hold a valid C-17 contractors license with the state of CA.
    Thanks again,

Wow, thanks Gary. If you can build that fast you'll never be out of work! LOL
I think I will like it here. although it could be the twilight zone of woodworking and I'll never get away!

I keep stumbling across this site. I figured I belong here or I wouldn't keep coming back to it - so I joined!
Anyway my name is Chuck and I am a tool freak! I double as a Glazier sometimes too. I recently started my own glass co. after recieving my contractors license (c-17) I like making picture frames for all the pictures I take that I'll never get around to framing!!!:^0
I just got a new shop - me and all my tools are reunited finally. I was researching Bailey no. 5 Handplanes and found my self @ lumberjocks again. Last week I was researching knockdown sawhorses/benches, portable tablesaws and computer desks and guess where I ended up? Did I mention I was a tool freak? God, I love having a shop of my own and no wife to tell me what to do. My place is small, but it is better than having nothing at all…
I just wanted to check in with you folks, I gotta get back to staring at my tools and figuring out how I am going to set up my place.
