GaryW, this is quite an interesting piece. It reminds me of a combination of things I've seen before, including, but not limited to some Native American artwork and jewelry.

Did you bend the brass slotted plate to fit the curve, or trace the plate to make the curve?

The brass bend is very mild, no kinks, want to change the screws to a round top instead of the now counter sunk. The white stripe was the hardest to do, didn't allow for the blade width when I glued back together.

Nice design, Gary. My grandson would like this little piggy. Is there any accommodation for removing the accumulated wealth?

You will never save by removing the saved. But if you have to, remove the two screws, what goes in will come out the way.
