Project Information

This was a fun and different project for me. I got the idea from a LJ buddie of mine after seeing it on Toyguy's project list. It was a bit challenging sanding the wings while the piece was spinning but got her finished nicely. This piece measures 7.5" across and is made from Maple with a Black Walnut lid. The finish is wipe on Poly with five coats and then buffed on the beal.

Great looking bowl Chuck. I have not made a winged bowl yet. It is on the "to do" list at some point to try.

What a beauty, Chuck!

I can't imagine trying to sand it while it was spinning!
