Oh my, this is exceptional. I like a the use of the hexagon one hexagon, it gives the sides a visual interest that makes me keep on looking.

Very nicely done! I like the way you incorporated the pattern in the sides to match the top. It looks like you designed it pretty sturdy. It should last a long time.

I never get sick of the qbert motif. This is a particularly special example.

Nice work. I like how the edges cover the bearing leaving little gap between the bottom and the table top.
What glue did you use for the diamonds? Hot glue like woodmosiacs?

Very nicely executed! All of those sharp angles are tricky to match.

Be careful not to stare at this while spinning!

That is a beautiful piece of work. I have 2 questions: how many hours do you have invested in this? What does something like this sell for? Thanks for posting this way cool project!

Thanks for all the great comments.I used the hot glue for wood to glue the almot 300 hundred pieces on it works good on bare wood and sets fast.Be patient and uncross your eyes often! It probably took 15+ hours start to finish on first one.I think it would go quicker the more you make the more you get the hang of it .How much would this sell for ? never what you think it should considering time involved but woodmosaics sells these for around $200.

CMW - I appreciate the quick reply. Not a great hourly wage but we do this cause we enjoy the effort and if we can get some compensation to BUY MORE TOOLS thats gravy! Thanks again. PS: no way could I make one of those in 15 hours.
