Wow, that is beautiful! Nicely done. I especially like the first photo, and see what Pete is saying about it looking like a simmering volcano.

Moby, I wanted to compliment you on this bowl before I left for work this morning, but ran out of time.
You did a great job on the natural edge, doesn't look like you lost any of it. I really like this type of cut from a maple burl because you get that great grain pattern rising up the side. You did a great job in capturing it.

Thanks a lot for all the compliments guys! The first photo was right after the first coat of finish so it has a bit more pop than the others.

@murch I finished the bowl off the lathe and rubbed it in by hand for no scares.
