Project Information

The top that came with this table was only 42×31. Not big enough for full use of the PMP arm. So the new version is 48×38 and lots prettier than the old white! Also integrated a piece of 3/8" glass for transfers. Flowed epoxy across the glass for the seemlessness required.

Pencil track works from this low angle clear up to vertical. The groove below it doubles as paper holder but was intended as a PMP rest when stored.

Many woods of course, but the edges are Limoncillo.

The main pic has camera spots for some reason. but they are not in the finish!

Very cool but I can't imagine how you got it perfectly flat for drafting??? The "spots" in the picture are tiny specks of dust that show up when you used the flash because the light reflects off of them.

Beautiful drafting table, beats the heck out of my old drafting board setting on a old kitchen table for a desk,
and looking at your projects, the operator is way more skilled than the one at my board. Thank you for
sharing.

Just saw this and about to start on my own drafting table tomorrow!

Looks incredible, just wondering were you got the architect arm?

I think its too nice for a draughting table, I would find myself just looking at the wood and not drawing anything.

Zach, I have been looking for a good PMP for years and just happened on this one 2 years ago while remodeling an old hotel. Got it for $20!! It's not mint condition but works very well and locks correctly.
