Project Information

It took Mother Nature a long time to create but, this is all I have left after three hours and fourteen inches of 1×12.
All it took was rushing a little of the sanding part and breaking the head off of the piece.
Oh… and uttering 'that' word loud enough for all three of my dogs to respond.
Geeeezz…

I love the grain pattern! What finish did you use? Could you post more pics of this from different angles so we can see the joinery? Nice Work!

I would love to make this project but I don't know where to get the parts. Could you post some links to a shop? Do you have a video of the process?

That's a mighty fine pile of sawdust… maybe you could mold it into something?

Thanks for the inspiration.

I'm not kidding. Are you familiar with flocking and the process?

I like it. Jack was right. A squirt of glue and clamp her up over-night and no one will ever notice.

Welcome to the group, great way to break the ice, usually find bits of carrots in something similar. Squirt your glue on a board stand back and throw the shavings and create some art.

Ok… now I know why I "joined" this group…
Who knew everyone "wood" be so willing to "chip" in and "point" a 'knot' head like me with the "grain" and "pattern" my thoughts in the right direction.
An artist must have inspiration , after all.
Good deal… I will "dust" myself off and get back into the "grind".

Thanks to all.

OMG pure genius here.
I have some leftover blonde dewaxed shellac if you feel like applying a shiny finish to this masterpiece.

Welcome home mate.
