Retired 60 year old electronic technician who does woodworking from time to time.
I started wodworking in Junior High. I have done some home remodeling over the years but prefer to spend spare time building boxes, gifts, decorative boats and small furniture projests.
I work out of a two car garage but have a good variety of tools including:
Grizzly, two HP dust collector, and their smaller drum sander.
Jet long bed jointer.
Delta portable planer.
I use a Jet band saw for re-sawing and an old Craftsman for other work.
I picked up a Rigid table saw at an auction recently. Much better than my 30 year old Craftsman but not the best.
Some of my other interests include target shooting, Kayaking actually I just bought a canoe due to a center of gravity problem. This short, fat, older/stiffer guy was having problems getting in/out and tipping over in the skinny kayak.
