and says a friend has some cabinets that she needs to get rid of before she moves. 2 snowstorms later we are finally able to go pick them up. They were built by somebody they work with and built very sturdy. With some help I was able to load them both onto my truck and get them home.
The problem was once they got home. After an attempt to get on of them upstairs to the sewing room. It was decided they were to large. So to the workshop for some tools.
After about an hour or so. A new cabinet and some scrap wood appeared.
The 2nd one took a bit of playing with but we finally got it placed on our porch for a storage area. My wife’s task is to paint it in the spring in order to better protect it. I am also going to raise it up a bit on some treated wood to protect the bottom. As you can see the cat approved approved of the restyled cabinet in my wife’s sewing room. It will soon be holding a very large pile of fabric and have a nice curtain on the front.
Thanks for reading.

Good effort in restoring the cabinet to suit your requirements. Very nice pictures to bring before our eyes the whole event. Your wife should stitch something for you in return.
