I have not used the Portamate Lumber Rack myself but going on reviews, I had planned on getting a set. Then I noticed that it was on sale today so I ordered a couple.
Portamate Lumber Rack System is on sale at Rockler today.

Ordered the same. Kinda disappointed—the directions don’t match the pieces. Basically, what the directions read and what the parts look like are totally different. I called HTC about this and they said: Yup, you’re right, let’s look this over and we’ll get back to you. I have had to call HTC before about some things and they are always very good about service, but two of the three items I have from them (HTC 3000 and this Porta Mate) have required a phone call for new parts or some work at the grinder to fix the incorrect ones.

I just bought a Port-A-Mate wood rack yesterday at Lee Valley and installed it on the wall of my shop this afternoon. All the parts on mine are fine and it looks great on my wall. Mine is a 5-shelf unit, $39.50 Canadian dollars.
