As you can see by the big boxes in the attached pictures, I’m currently in the process of upgrading some tools. The layout shown will be changing drastically once I figure out the permanent homes for the new jointer and DC system.
The wood stacked to the left of the garage is for my in progress Roubo Bench Build. My plans are to build a lumber rack/miter saw stand against the back wall. The bench will go under the Windows and I will put the major power tools in a center group. I’m not sure where I will put the DC and the jointer yet but I’m thinking the DC will go by the service panel.
Right now, I’m running two 25’ 12AWG power chords hardwired to the breaker box for the 220v Jointer and DC system. Its a great combo with these mobile tools while my shops in a state of flux. Its been great to be able to wheel them around as needed till I can find them a home. While the mobility is great, its not optimal as it does takes a little time to move things around.
Hopefully the next time you visit my shop, you will see more of my upgrades. First things first, build the nice bench so I can build the rest of my shop! :)
Thanks for stopping by!
