Friend looking for mini lathe advice - 1 reply
A buddy of mine (same fellow asking about band saws) is thinking of getting a mini lathe for his wife. Has to be a mini but can have ability to be extended. He’s thinking of the Nova Comet II; does anyone have any insight on this model? Or any other suggestions in the same price range? Thanks in advance

Perhaps if this board is ripped in half each length would be so? Or is there something I’m getting mixed up on? Using these diagrams to differentiate qu...

(Sorry ‘bout the rambling below. If you want to skip it my questions are: whaddya think about this planer for under $20? What is the other mouth for and how should I set this up for proper use?) Why do we do it? Don’t answer that. I know why. Because we are hooked on tools- that’s why! So today after work I did two fun wo...

recommendations for online bandsaw blade sellers? - 37 replies
Can anyone recommend decent online sellers for bandsaw blades? In particular Canadian sellers would be great but I’ll take any suggestions for sellers who will ship to Ontario Canada. I have searched several online offereings but of course would appreciate thoughts from members here with firsthand experience.
