Re organizing shop to make room for working with 24” wide oak slab that is over 8’ long. Making a natural edge coffee table(possibly two) with a white oak stand. The stand is not going to be a normal 4 legs with 4 sided apron. It will be 1 leg offset from center. I have the drawings that I will post soon, and as soon as I start the build, I will post pics.

I look forward to seeing your pics. I understand the dilemma with the shop rearrangement. My profile pic is a piece of ash that I couldn’t pass up but is still a little too green to work. With space in my garage shop at such a premium, storing while drying is a problem. It is currently sticked with my bandsaw and a workbench on top of it for weight. Gotta do what ya gotta do!

Have your say...
