55 Gallon Drum Cyclone Dust Separator

Found a farmer down the road selling 55 Gallon Drums for cheap. I bought a couple and made a BBQ Pit out of them. Then I thought I’d use one for a dust bin to empty my ShopVac into when it gets full. I had a 5 gallon bucket lid made out of plastic that I bought from one of th big box stores which was cyclone dust separator. Problem was that the bucket filled up too quickly and was too weak to handle the pressure of my 6 HP 16 gallon ShopVac, so it buckled all the time. I wanted to turn the 55 gallon drum into a cyclone separator so I bought an extra vacuum hose and a plastic elbow. It works fantastic.
