Its small it’s full and its mine. Its 4×8 meters that means 12×24 for those of you with metric hebie gibies!
I own a Bosch table saw, a really old craftsman router (in use with table) a hand held router. A Hitachi 3&1/4 HP router with some up cut spiral bits for mortises and such and others as well. the basic array of hand planes 2 #6 jack planes (one I converted for use as a scrub plane) a smother (record) and a block plane (record) and a spoke shave. Chisels that don’t hold an edge so well, a drill press corded and cordless drills and drivers. Assorted tools grinders ect! biscuit joiner, Lots and lots of jigs!
I purchased a Universal machine. A Valex from Italy It’s used but it was in great shape. It is a four function machine: Jointer/Planer, Table saw with a fixed arbour and small sliding table, and a Slot mortiser.
I also bought a Band saw 14” model and a Sanding station to boot. With a 9” disc sander and a Belt sander.
I ordered after market guides for the band saw and made my own resaw fence.
I just want to note for the record that Israel is the only country in the region that has no markings on it!
Is it coincidence? I find this kind of disturbing!!! After 60 years I think Israel deserves some recognition!
Thank you
Chaim Gottesman

Hi Chaim,
I will ditto Gary’s comment about pictures. I find visual shop tours to be one of the interesting aspects of this community.

God Bless Israel. Your work is beautiful. Take some pics of your shop, we’d love to see them.

Thanks,
I’m doing my best to empty it out and get new material once and a while!
If I do it means I made some sales! and I’ve been making sales thats why I have little time to post!
