walnut dinning extention table

This table took a lot of thought and really stretched my skills but now that I see the end I know I could do it again better and faster!
Background: a customer came to me with the need for a huge extendable table he had some walnut lumber left over from the building of his house and wanted to know if I could take on the job!
I said yes pending a design, he said "here's the lumber and can you make it with a trestle base"
After examining the size of the lumber and getting approximate dimensions wanted (6' closed 21' opened) I said a trestle base won't do!
So after several designs and a lot of research I came up with this!
I still must finish the leaves (just need mortises for the levellers) and a finish + I must add three legs to support the table when fully opened
I made everything from a to z. The top is glued up from 6 pieces and I made a jointer plane to enable flattening of the top. The lumber was pretty warped so it took a lot to straighten!
The extension rails are made from oak I used an old and acceptable method for them the washer and slot method!
The legs are four sided tapered and the aprons have a triple bead!
I will have professional pictures taken and will post them when I'm done!
Thanks for looking,
Chaim
