Suggestions for Using Tree Trunk Butts? - 7 replies
I just had 13 White Oak logs quarter sawn. When they’re milled one of the pieces I’m left with are the butts from the trunks. Some of these are rather large and thick. Cutting an Angle Dilema - 6 replies
This must be simpler than I’m making it. I need to cut as 2 degree angle on two sides of a piece of wood that’s ~1.5” wide. It’s for a mallet handle. I want to cut them on a table saw. I can easily cut the first side by making an auxiliary fence at the angle I need. How do I get the other side at the correct angle?...
