timing is everything I guess.. I had just finished loading this bookcase up a week ago…

It’s contemporary in design, simple joinery.biscuts and rabbits, all solid white oak, with 1/4” oak sheet backing. It’s 8’ wide, floor to ceiling, fitted between walls in out loft office.
This is my first post, I have the feeling the pics will not work… so the addresses are below.
This is my first dive into real woodworking. Done in my basement with a minimum of tools.
Planning on converting our new barn into a shop this spring and really jumping into this.

That’s very cool. Modern I should say!

Very nice design.

Image tip, If you put an exclamation mark at the beginning, & end of each image code, they’ll all open

I really like the design on this. I may actually do something similar in my office with the drawers on the opposite ends and the desk in the middle. I like the squares and the ability to have different sized shelves for different sized books and curios. Well done.

An interesting design. Congratulations on finishing it.

But nothing says that I’ve seen that says you can’t have completed it. You will probably have to make another one if you win.

Looks great! There are only so many ways to make a bookcase look different, and you did a great job with this one.

Nice design, ambitious project, looks too cluttered full, but I still like it enough I might try it!! :-))
