I'm a long-term woodworker and craftsperson, having lived in an old house for many years. Over the past 6 years, I've been working at expanding the range of projects that can be done on the scroll saw. My first book, Wooden Bowls from the Scroll Saw, presented an economical alternative to making bowls with the lathe, and has given many scrollers a new direction to explore. My most recent book, Creative Wooden Boxes from the Scroll Saw is full of projects that are definitely fun, not at all mainstream, and contains not a single project that uses common box joinery.

I enjoy sharing ideas and techniques, and developing woodworking projects of interest to scrollers and non-scrollers alike, that reflect my background in crafts and cake decorating.
