This past weekend I was at Home Depot with my daughter, not realizing they had a kids craft event, we made a trinket box together. This was a pretty neat deal. My daughter is only 19 months old so glue is not something she is ready for yet. I hope to continue going to these events with her. I was so excited to get to do something like this. Thanks Home Depot for having something like this for kids to do.
Here are the pictures of the box;

Get it in the blood early Joe. Won’t be long and she’s 15 and dating. Nice first project for you two.

Cool. I have been wanting to do one of those with my kids for a while now, just have not had a chance yet. Glad you enjoyed it. Great looking box. Does every thing come pre-made?

A nice job on the box and a time to share some time together.
My son lives the time making them.

I think those kids shops are great. The kids learn a little and Dad or Mom do too. Some good bonding goes on and not just the glue type.
The box looks great and I’m sure it will be treasured for a very long time.

It all comes as a kit the pieces are pre-made and you just glue it up and put the stickers on. They give your little one a certificate as well.

Joe,
Very nice… Like one of the other comments, Get it in their blood early! They will end up liking the Craft when they know they can craft really neat stuff.

Good job dad. Enjoy spending the time together now, while they still want to.
Neat box to boot.
