I admit it. I haven’t made the time to be on here much lately. What I do notice is: my buddy list. Checked in and a lot of “My Buddies ” havent been on lately either. Average 125-350 days. I guess as our lives change and we have other interests. In my case I have NO computor service at home. I can only access fron library in town or at work.(I now work at a school, doors close and gate locked up at 4pm !) Library is NOT for me, I have to sit with other 20 people at ROUND table, limited to 1 hour.
I still ENJOY seeing the amazing projects that some people do, I ENJOY reading the forum.

People change, life happens and everything is cyclic—and, that’s about as philosophical as I want to get. I know mty interests pretty much remain the same at this point in life, it’s just that some interests get attention for a period of time, and then I shift my attention to another interest for a while. I’ll spend one day at the gun club, one weekend fishing and a couple of weekends in my shop. I guess the bottom line is that variety is the spice of life.

Sometimes it is good not to be easily connected. This web site can be addictive. Sometimes it is better to spend time in the shop so you have something worthwhile to add when you log in. I spend too much time browsing because I won’t head to the shop unless Ive got >30 minutes. However I’ll log in if I have only 5 minutes to spare, (which stretches to 30 minutes so I should have gone to the shop anyway).

It goes in spurts. People go away for a long time and then they come back.

Know what you mean about the library, the reason I have access is the wife is a computer wizard as well
as a musician and LOML, so she has a high speed service, that I shamelessly use. Could to hear from you
again. Are you still getting in some time on those other machines that they have at the school, and how
is your home shop setup going?

Yes I am spending as much time as I can on the “NEW” lalhes. They were leasing the ones in picture, now they purchased 4 NEW ones. Gears change smooth, speeds adjust smooth. Almost same machine as old ones, just bigger. (Old ones ha…..........they were maybe 8 years old) Wishing we could have bid on them !
