This one from 2 weeks ago ($50)

This is my 50’s model for $25. (Proud of this discovery)

(Paid too much $100) First one since moving here, was to eager.

Yesterdays $40 GEM.
Saw this posted in paper. For $40 I had to SAVE it. Older craftsman saw. 113.1217. Had 2 white metal solid extensions, stand that makes this saw 40” 1hp motor, no key for switch (I have several)
Only light surface rust.
I did not realize “emmerson” made a saw with the angle crank on LEFT side. The blade angles to left same as my other saws.
For those of you that keep track of my OBSESSIONS : “Eight”craftsman 113…???? 2 back east….6 here !
When I move into shop I will provide photo opp.

I too have a C’man 113 TS collection. Ok, I only have one, but you have to start somewhere!!!

It’s a CL find, $125.00. Came with a Vega Utility fence and a Herc-U-Lift mobile base. I’ve upgraded to machined pulleys (& PALS) from In-Line Industries & a HF link belt. I have also enclosed the bottom with a DC shroud going to my HF 2HP DC.

I bought a 113 in 2009 to use until something better came along. The darn thing meets all my needs and I’ve quit looking for the “better.” I am planning to update the fence from the Accutrac to a Delta or Vega.

If I made larger items then it might need to be changed out, but for now it is just right. It had the egg crate cast iron extensions and I replace one with a router table.

Steve.
