The TIME has arrived. Grandpa needs to go back to work ! The economy here is just CRAP. Only jobs that are available require SO MANY WALLET cards, SO many govermental qualifications, part time 10-20hr weeks , PROMISES that never happen !blah blah blah. Brother-in-law called May 30 and asked me to come work with him. I am going. Time to move back WEST and talk to “Normal” people. PROBLEM being: In last 5 years I have accumilated SO much stuff. Good buys on solid lumber…...tools…....things that we never seen to much of in ALberta Canada. Been carrying for 2 weeks now putting everything into storage containers. I have filled a 20ft with lumber, filled a 20ft with tools, filled a 20 ft with furniture. I only plan on taking smaller tools and tools that need refurbing with me this trip. I have the 16 ft haulmark cargo trailer full,(room to sleep in front, the truck is full as well.We are off July 2nd. Destination is only 4000 kms ONE way. (Thats 2640 miles) My wife is staying here till March 30-2013 when HER job is over (Zellers bought by TARGET)her store is just closing NO target coming to this City ? If she leaves now she looses ALL her severence pay,
In a nutshell, LIFE SUCKS !
Grandkids are going to miss me ! (I will miss them for sure)

It’s been tough all over. For a while there both our daughter’s and both Son’s in Law had to move in with us for a good many months. We still have one pair with us. We’re enjoying them but we’d much rather have a decent economy with plenty of work for them.

I hope your move works out very good for you and that your trip goes off without a hitch. It’s always tough to be away from your spouse. I hope ya’ll are back together real soon.

Safe trip. It would be hard to leave the grand kids for sure. Good luck.

Good luck with the job out west. I hope you hit it good and can soon get back to running all those tools and making Canadian Chips!!.................................Jim

I will keep you in mind. Thanks
Thanks to everyone else as well.
Getting excited here, lots to tidy up…...giving a lot of lumber to a Group home workshop nearby.
Tools…....tools…....and more tools…........what the heck was I thinking when I bought all them ?
I did have fun !

LOS PROBLEMAS SON MUNDIALES VIRUTA CANADIENSE: NO TE AMARGUES QUE UNA CRISIS ES TAMBI√ČN UNA OPORTUNIDAD DE EMPEZAR ALGO NUEVO QUE SUELE SER MEJOR ;-)
PROBLEMS ARE GLOBAL CANADIANCHIP: DO NOT be bitter CRISIS THAT IS ALSO AN OPPORTUNITY TO START SOMETHING THAT IS OFTEN BETTER ;-)
