I have finally finished a couple of items I got at an auction Sale.
SLICK EH !
The first one is a 4inch slick, it was decent but I needed to slowly remove rust pits.
The second and third ones are 2 inch, same issues.
All three came with NO handles. I turned these out on my wood lathe.
Photo of my large wood mallet (Look out Archie)
The tree slicks, the 2 mallets were all in the 1 box that bid on.
Total auction price $15

Very nice! (Mental note that I really need to start going to more auctions.)

I assume the name Waldo is the mallet’s name, not the owner’s name.
When a joint won’t fit together you can say “Where’s Waldo?!”

Wow. Jim is right. What a steal. Those slicks alone could go for $100 each on the bay.
